Circus...

I know that it has been a VERY long time since I have posted. I know, I am a slacker.
BUT I plan to update on a regular basis from now on.

Tonight we took the Girls to Ringling Bros. Circus. They wanted to see the elephants and the Tigers. Both girls were overly excited when they were able to see both of those. They were also excited to see the acrobats flying in the air. Will probably be talking about it until the circus comes next year.

Girls are growing more and more every day. The attitiudes are also in full swing. Who knew that a 2 and 3 year old would have an attitude of a 16 year old. On another note, they are the sweetest girls. Anna is a momma's girl and never wants me to leave. Emma, can live without me at times, and she wants to be independent with everything.

Back to watching my Bethanny Getting Married?

update..

I have been such a slacker about keeping up with a blog. It is one week until Christmas and I am so excited. The girls are so ready for Santa, yet they are not really old enough to know what is going on. they want santa to come now and don't understand why we have to wait.
This year has been so hard financially, but God is watching out for us. Thanks to family and friends my girls will have a Christmas.

You've Got Mail..

The reason for the title is because I am watching the movie and couldn't think of another title...Mothers Day just passed about a week ago and it was great. Girls ordered me some wonderful flowers with a little help from dad. Emma was SO excited and said "happy mothers day" all day long. She gets so excited about the littlest things. She loves to go to Chick a Day (chick fil a). She is a curious little bugger. Went to the park today and she asked every single little kid what their name was. When she came to a girl named McKenzie, she finally stopped asking.
Park today was fun. They opened the little water, splash park today. We went this morning to meet with the Forney Moms Club, came home so I could clean, then went back up there for some more water fun... Girls were both asleep by 8:30...and of course I am home alone...
Tonight is Shawns bowling night. Every Friday night he is out until midnight or after. Then if he has shirts to do, he is up until the sun starts peaking...
Anna is trying to talk more and more every day. She will try to prounce anything you say and if she can't say it, she responds with either "katie" or "mimi".. Her new words are "yummy yummy". I have also learned that children will repeat anything you say, so be careful...Emma was playing in the sprinklers the other day and she ran up to her dad and said"dad, this sucks"

Ice Cream Night

Tonight after supper we made a trip up to the local Dairy Queen for some yummy ice cream, while we watched Biggest Loser. Funny huh?? We got the girls each their own ice cream cone. One would think this was a mistake, but we only get to have these funny moments for a short while, so why not. Emma goes to town like a pro eating hers. She has a ring of the ice cream around her mouth and Shawn looks back to her and says, "Emma, you got milk?" She replied with, "no dad! I have ice cream..." We thought it was funny...
Then Anna who is a little scared of the ice cream because it is so cold. She wasn't too sure about eating it with her mouth so she decided to start HER HANDS. (if you are woNDERING WHY the caps are going on and off, its BECAUSE I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD HELPer ThaT LIkes to watch the light come on)...sO Anna had ice cream ALL over herself. Shawn mADE ME GET HER OUT OF THE CAR. HE IS A WEINER!
EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN GOOD. ANNA HAS BEEN TRYING TO SAY EMMA, BUT IT DOESN'T COME OUT RIGHT.
GOING TO BED....

Busy Day

Today was a very busy day and I am pooped. We woke up and went to the Dallas zoo. Very fun. I am so glad we were able to get the season zoo pass. The best investment of the year so far. We stayed there for about 4 hours and the girls loved it. Emma road a the horse around a little circle, which I had to pay 2 dollars for, but it was worth it. She hopped on that thing like she knew exactly what to do. Anna loves the monkeys, but doesn't like the monorail. She really doesn't like to sit still for a long amount of time and 2 minutes is too long.
Mimi is doing better. She will be moving to a rehab facility soon...
I am going to bed because i can hardly keep my eyes open...

Perfect Day...

If there is such a thing, it always seems to happen when Shawn is home. The girls just act like normal human beings. They play and stay out of my hair, eat lunch, then lay down and take a nap with no problems. Any "normal" day, they would be following me around, whining, not letting me get anything done around the house.
Shawn went to the Opening Day at the Rangers Stadium yesterday. His shipping guy Alvin took him. He did not take sun block so his whole face is blistered extremely bad. He was running a high fever so he stayed home from work today. Of course, the girls did just what I said. They acted like little angels up until dinner. Then he witnessed what Anna does ALL day when I am here alone. She walks behind me like a little shadow, whining. I pick her up and then she wants down. Its a vicious cycle, I know.

quiet time...

At the moment the house is quiet because the girls are sleeping. That could change at any given moment. If they wake up then they want to come straight to me. They love to poke around on my computer and now my shift key has fallen off. Wonder how that could have happen?
Emma has started to "try" to repeat anything we say at times. She has her own way of saying things also. Chik-fil-a is chik-a-day to her. She has heard me say "oh gosh" on a number of occasions that she walks around the house and says "oh gosh" to everything. She thinks that everyone and everything (her dolls) are sick now and need to go to the hospital. Since we have been up there so much lately with Mimi, she thinks that everyone should go.
Anna is a lil' toot. She will find some how and some way to get her body parts stuck in whatever. She has gotten her elbow stuck in a booth at a restaurant. Her leg stuck in Shawn's recliner, and yesterday at Lowe's she got her foot stuck in the buggy. I am going to have a heart attack one day with these girls. She has started trying to talk as well. MaMa, DaDa, Mimi, Paw, Bye Bye are about the extent of her conversations. Will let you know when more things start coming out of her mouth.
Had a garage sale yesterday and made a whole $40. Oh well, that happens. I have two photo shoots this week and am super excited. I love what I do.
Shawn is in there working on his websites.
Thats about all for this week, need to get up and start some dinner....
